Michael Chong

Michael Chong is an experienced professional in materials management and procurement, currently serving as Master Data Lead and Shutdown Coordinator - Materials at INPEX since October 2016. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Materials Coordinator at Chevron, where responsibilities included managing the Mainland Supply Bases Contractor's execution of scope and aligning activities with project priorities. Michael’s extensive background includes roles such as Materials Co-ordinator/Scheduler at Kellogg Joint Venture - Gorgon, Senior Procurement Officer at Leighton Contractors, and various materials controller positions at CB&I, Worley Parsons, and Kellogg Joint Venture. Michael holds a degree from Curtin University and possesses strong technical expertise in materials management standards, procedures, and supply chain dynamics.
