Michael Giles

Michael Giles is an experienced Shutdown Superintendent at INPEX Australia, specializing in implementation and management of shutdown work scopes for both ILNG and FPSO projects since June 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Campaign Lead for Santos Ltd, overseeing shutdowns for all WA Offshore Assets, and roles at ConocoPhillips from 2002 to 2020, where responsibilities spanned from Implementation Lead to Decommissioning Operations Work Scope Coordinator. Michael's career began in the energy sector with positions at ESSO/Mobil and BHP, and Michael holds various qualifications, including a Diploma of Project Management and a Certificate of Trade Studies in Instrumentation, alongside extensive technical expertise in maintenance and operations.
