Simon Warburton

Simon Warburton is currently the Deputy General Manager for Onshore Operations at Ichthys LNG, a role they hold at INPEX Australia after being seconded from TotalEnergies. With an extensive background in the oil and energy industry, Simon has previously served in various positions at Woodside Energy, including LNG Operations Supervisor and Offshore Installation Manager. They also worked as an FLNG Operations Readiness Engineer at Shell and held the position of LNG Technical Advisor at TotalEnergies. Simon earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University and an Associate’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from UNSW Australia.
