Tomasz Burzyński

Tomasz Burzyński has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Tomasz currently serves as the Chief Data Officer at InPost Group since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Orange Polska from 2013 to 2021, where they held the position of BI & Data Science Director. In this role, they transformed the BI organization into an advanced data practice and led a team of 150 experts covering various areas such as predictive analytics, data governance, and marketing automation. Tomasz also implemented an agile delivery model for data products.

Before joining Orange Polska, Tomasz worked at Orange from 2006 to 2013. Tomasz'sroles included Country Support Manager - CIO Advisor, Program Manager - Customer Care - EMEA, and Project Manager - International Division. During their time at Orange, they advised CIOs and executed due diligence of strategic programs across Europe. Tomasz also managed customer care consulting across multiple countries and initiated cross-divisional business consulting offerings.

Earlier in their career, Tomasz worked at Sofrecom as a Business Manager for North Africa and a Business Analyst. Tomasz designed billing systems and managed functional support teams during commercial roll-outs for Orange France. Tomasz also worked as a Strategy Consultant at Capgemini Invent, preparing strategies for content business models and participating in change management projects for mobile operators.

Tomasz Burzyński earned an MBA degree from the London Business School in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Ingénieur généraliste – Diplôme Télécom Bretagne degree in Services and Business Engineering at IMT Atlantique in 2001. Tomasz also holds an MS degree in Mobile Communication Systems from Gdańsk University of Technology, which they obtained in 1999. In addition to their formal education, Tomasz Burzyński has obtained various certifications, including the Design Sprints Foundations Nanodegree Program from Udacity in 2019 and the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in 2007.
