Nicolas Biri

Nicolas Biri currently serves as the Director of Software Architecture at Input Output (IOHK), where responsibilities include leading the plutus-apps team focused on developing tooling for the Cardano blockchain, primarily utilizing Haskell. Prior to this role, Nicolas Biri held positions at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) as a Senior Software Engineer in Haskell and Senior Research Engineer, overseeing the design and management of various research projects. Nicolas Biri's earlier experience includes a Project Manager role at CRP - Gabriel Lippmann, managing funding and development of applied and basic research projects, as well as a researcher position focusing on service-oriented architecture in Java. Nicolas Biri obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Henri Poincaré and has a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution.
