Omer Husain is an accomplished professional in the fields of blockchain and product management, currently serving as the Head of Product for Smart Contracts at Input Output (IOHK) since November 2021, where leadership involves overseeing the Smart Contract Tribe. Omer also launched Marlowe's suite of blockchain-agnostic financial products. Prior experience includes positions as Product Owner at ING’s Blockchain Center of Excellence and product consultant for the European Commission, along with co-founding The WasteLab, a co-working kitchen initiative.
