Stefan Contiu

Stefan Contiu is a highly experienced technology professional currently serving as the Director of Technical Intelligence at Input Output (IOHK) since March 2022. Prior to this role, Stefan was the Chief Operating Officer at SCILLE from October 2016 to December 2020, where efforts focused on developing Parsec, an open-source solution for secure file storage and sharing. Stefan's career includes positions such as Project and Research Supervisor at Code4Nord and Senior Software and Data Engineer with United Nations Volunteers. Additional experience includes roles as Lead Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Microsoft, along with software engineering positions at GFI Software and Softing. Stefan's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université de Bordeaux, a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from Technical University of Cluj Napoca, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Babes-Bolyai University.
