Brahim KERKAR

Brahim KERKAR is a seasoned Patent Counsel with over 20 years of experience in the management of Intellectual Property (IP), complemented by more than 10 years in R&D and Innovation. KERKAR's career includes key roles such as IP Manager at JTI from September 2014 to June 2016, and Senior Patent Counsel positions at companies including SICPA, SATT LUTECH, GEVERS, and Serono Pharma. Responsibilities have encompassed managing diverse IP portfolios, negotiating license agreements, conducting Freedom to Operate analyses, and providing IP training to stakeholders. KERKAR holds a degree from the Centre d'Études Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle (CEIPI), enhancing expertise in the field. Currently, KERKAR serves as Senior Patent Counsel at INRAE, continuing to lead in IP management and strategy.
