Eric Duchaud is the Head of the "Infection et Immunité des Poissons" team at INRAE, where research focuses on understanding the biological mechanisms of fish infections by infectious agents, including viruses and bacteria. Previously, they worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut Pasteur from 1998 to 2003, studying the genomics of Listeria and Photorhabdus luminescens, and at the Institut Curie from 1996 to 1997, analyzing nuclear responses to ionizing radiation related to ubiquitination and chromatin dynamics in apoptosis. Eric is currently pursuing a Doctorate and an Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches in Life Sciences at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI).
