Clement Cances is a researcher in applied mathematics. They held the position of Maitre de conférences at Université P. Curie UPMC-Paris6 from 2009 to 2015 and served as directeur de recherche at Inria in 2021. Cances has also worked as a chargé de recherche, both at Inria and on attachment from UPMC. Currently, they are pursuing an Agrégation in Mathematics at ENS Cachan, having completed a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Aix-Marseille University from 2005 to 2008.
