Frederic ALEXANDRE

Head of the MNEMOSYNE Project-Team

Frédéric ALEXANDRE is a Directeur de Recherche at Inria and leads the MNEMOSYNE research team at the Institut des Maladies Neurodégénératives in Bordeaux. They study cognitive functions such as decision-making and memory, aiming to model brain circuits and develop novel artificial intelligence algorithms. With experience in research and teaching at the University of Bordeaux and Bordeaux INP, Frédéric also engages in scientific mediation and collaborates across various disciplines, including social sciences. Their past contributions as a board member for AFIA and their involvement with LORIA highlight a longstanding commitment to neuroscience and AI research.
