Jan Ramon

Jan Ramon is a senior researcher at Inria, specializing in data mining with a focus on graph mining theory. Jan served as a PhD student at K.U.Leuven from 1997 to 2002, where they conducted research funded by the Esprit ILP2 project and IWT. They also worked as a principal investigator for the ERC Starting Grant 'MiGraNT' and as a post-doctoral fellow and researcher at K.U.Leuven. Since 2015, Jan has been a full-time researcher in the MAGNET team at Inria, advancing their research in applications of data mining, including computational biology and administrative networked data analysis. Jan holds a BSc in engineering sciences and physics, as well as an MSc and PhD in Computer Science, all from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
