Jovan S.

Jovan S. is a PhD candidate at Université Paris-Saclay, specializing in Econometrics, Political Economy, and Machine Learning, under the guidance of Gaël Varoquaux and Margherita Comola. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for a causal inference course at New York University, Jovan also works as a PhD student with the Soda team at Inria and maintains the open-source Python project skrub. Previously, Jovan held roles as a Statistical Editor and intern at OECD - OCDE, and interned as a Statistician Trainee at EUROSTAT. Jovan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Econometrics and Statistics from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Magistère d'économie from Paris School of Economics.
