Matheus Centa

Matheus Centa is a PhD candidate at Inria, specializing in Neuro-Symbolic Reinforcement Learning within the SCOOL team, supervised by Philippe Preux. Prior experience includes a research internship at Inria where Matheus focused on integrating symbolic action priors into deep reinforcement learning algorithms, as well as a software engineer internship at Microsoft, where significant reductions in OCR error rates were achieved through innovative preprocessing techniques. Additional internships include a software engineering role at VTEX, where Matheus developed a data aggregation worker, and academic credentials from institutions such as École Polytechnique and Pierre and Marie Curie University, encompassing degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and Engineering.
