Michel Syska is currently the Chargé de mission for the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications in the Numérique sector for the PACA region at Université Côte d'Azur, where they also serve as Responsable for the Master 2 MIAGE MBDS program and co-created the Artificial Intelligence track in the Bachelor of Sciences and Technologies. They were previously a Postdoc in the School of Computing Science at Simon Fraser University and led the Computer Science department at IUT Nice-Côte d'Azur from 2011 to 2014. Syska has been a researcher with INRIA since 1996 and an Associate Professor at the University of Nice - Sophia Antipolis since 1993. They earned their degree from Université Côte d'Azur between 1988 and 1989.
