Nabil Layaïda

Nabil Layaïda is a Senior Researcher and Director of Research at Inria, where Nabil has led the Tyrex team since October 1998, focusing on enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and flexibility of web application development. With an extensive background in XML typechecking, structured documents, and query languages, Nabil has contributed to various research initiatives in web standards and document manipulation. Previous experience includes co-founding Raise Partner, where Nabil served as VP of Science & Technology, advising on high-performance risk management platforms, and working as an Invited Expert at W3C, contributing to the SMIL recommendations. Nabil started the career as a Research Engineer at Bull S.A. and holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Computer Science from Université Grenoble Alpes.
