Stephane Gaubert

Stephane Gaubert serves as the Coordinator of the Gaspard Monge Program for Optimization and Operations Research at Fondation Mathématique Jacques Hadamard since November 2013. In addition, Gaubert has held the position of Senior Research Scientist and head of a research team at INRIA since January 2002. Gaubert has been a professor at Ecole Polytechnique since 2001, initially as a lecturer from 2001 to 2015, before becoming a full professor in 2015. Prior to these roles, Gaubert was the head of the control and optimization group at ENSTA from 1999 to 2001. Gaubert holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Automatic Control from Mines Paris - PSL, obtained between 1989 and 1992, and an Engineer’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique, completed from 1985 to 1988.
