Stephane Grumbach

Stephane Grumbach is a Senior Scientist at Inria and a Faculty Lecturer at Sciences Po, where they focus on the geopolitics of digital transformation and its implications for global relations. They served as Director for international relations at INRIA and directed both LIAMA at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and IXXI at ENS Lyon. Grumbach has also held the position of Science Counsellor at the French Embassy in Beijing and is currently a Visiting Research Scientist at the Integrated Research Institute for Global Climate and the Environment. They are pursuing a PhD in Computer Science and hold two master’s degrees in Chinese studies and mathematics from Université Paris Cité.
