Suraj Kumar is an accomplished researcher and software engineer with extensive experience in high-performance analytics and multi-core computing. Currently serving as an ISFP Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at Inria since November 2019, Suraj previously held postdoctoral positions at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from May 2018 to October 2019 and at Ericsson Research for a brief period in 2018. Suraj began a professional career as a software engineer at IBM India Research Lab before pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Université de Bordeaux from 2013 to 2017, following a Master of Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science. An early educational foundation was built at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, where a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science was earned.
