Phil DeFrancesco

Phil DeFrancesco has an extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Phil is currently the Head of Product, Financial Services at INRIX, where they lead the initiative of penetrating their location analytics deeper into the industry. Previously, they served as the Head of Product and Business Development at Yewno, Inc., where they were responsible for setting business plans, driving revenue, and establishing partnerships within the Financial Services vertical. Prior to that, Phil was the Global Head of Equities Data and Desktop at Refinitiv, where they developed and executed the business strategy for the Equities data and desktop franchise. Phil also held the position of Global Head of Trading Desktop Platform, Cross Asset at Thomson Reuters, overseeing the flagship trading desktop business across various asset classes. Phil has extensive experience in trading, having served as the Head of Trading, Americas for Millennium Partners, as well as a Trader at Zurich Scudder Investments and an Assistant Institutional International Equity Trader at Merrill Lynch. Throughout their career, Phil has won numerous innovation awards for their focus on improving trading workflow efficiency, alpha generation/preservation, and analytics through the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Phil DeFrancesco attended Binghamton University School of Management from 1996 to 1997, where they earned an MBA with a specialization in Finance. Prior to that, they studied at SUNY Oneonta from 1992 to 1996, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics. In addition to their academic achievements, Phil DeFrancesco has obtained several certifications including Series 24 in May 2009, Series 55 in July 2006, Series 63 in April 2000, and Series 7 in October 1998.
