Insane Root is a Bristol-born Theatre Charity (CIO) specialising in reimagining classic plays and stories by presenting them in unusual locations.

We are passionate about making the inaccessible accessible - from bringing life to abandoned sites and making Shakespeare make sense, to sharing an open discourse with our audiences and collaborators.

We believe theatre is most powerful when it is inclusive and personal and aim to create shows that are exciting, immersive and unforgettable.

Previous shows include:
Macbeth at the Redcliffe Caves
Orpheus & Eurydice in the Clifton Suspension Bridge Vaults
The Tempest in St John on the Wall's Crypt
Romeo & Juliet in Eastville Park Swimming Pool
Rumpelstiltskin at the New Room (John Wesley's Chapel)
