Qing Liu

Senior Field Scientific Consultant at Inscopix

Qing Liu has worked in the scientific field since 2004, when they began their graduate studies at Rutgers University. In 2013, they began their postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), where they revealed the critical role of the CYFIP1 gene in maintaining frontal cortical circuit function and rodent motor and cognitive functions, in vivo characterization of Rett syndrome related MECP2 gene function in frontal cortical astrocytes, and studied ARC gene function and regulation in frontal cortical circuit development and motor learning. In 2019, they joined Inscopix, Inc. as a Field Scientific Consultant, and later became a Senior Field Scientific Consultant.

Qing Liu obtained a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Rutgers University between 2003 and 2010. In 2019, they completed a Data Analyst Nano Degree from Udacity.
