Joni Aaltonen

Joni Aaltonen's work experience begins in 2003 as a Research Assistant at KCL. In 2004, they become a Webmaster for Event Travel, where they design and implements a new website and content management system. In 2005, Joni serves as an Information Officer for the WorldSkills Competition in Helsinki.

In 2007, Joni joins WorldSkills International as a Senior Web Developer, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining various information systems. Joni also manages both internal and external projects and utilizes technologies such as PHP, Java, REST, and MySQL.

In 2010, Joni founds Aaltonen Interactive, assuming the role of Founder, CEO, and Web Specialist. Then, in 2016, they become a Technical Consultant for Inscripta. In 2017, Joni is promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Inscripta, where they lead the management and development of speech recognition-powered enterprise solutions for healthcare and other sectors.

Throughout their career, Joni demonstrates expertise in web development, project management, and information system design and implementation.

Joni Aaltonen has a strong educational background in Information Communications Technology. Joni obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Communications Technology from HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2006, Joni also participated in an exchange program at Towson University, focusing on Business Information Technology. Prior to these degrees, they completed a Vocational Qualification in Information Technology (Datanomi) from Suomen Liikemiesten Kauppaopisto, which they pursued from 2000 to 2003.

Furthermore, Joni has additional certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Joni obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification in August 2019, and also holds a similar certification, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, from the same institution and year.
