Derek Deasy

Derek Deasy is a Senior Affiliate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD since November 2008, with expertise in leadership development and executive coaching. Deasy has served in various academic roles, including as Affiliate Professor, Leadership Development Practice Director at IGLC, and an Adjunct Professor. Previous experience includes Director of St. Clare's Unit at Children's University Hospital and Clinical Psychologist at Rathgar Consultancy Service in Dublin, where executive coaching and therapeutic work for adolescents and adults were key responsibilities. Additional roles span as an External Consultant at IMD, Honorary Professor at the University of Nottingham, and Director of the Irish Group Relations Organisation. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Clinical Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, a Master’s in Psychoanalytic Consultation from the University of East London, and multiple degrees from University College Dublin.
