Alessandro Barducci is currently a Research Director at INSERM and has served as a Group Leader at both the Centre de Biochimie Structurale Montpellier and the Centre de Biologie Structurale Montpellier since 2015. Previously, they were a Researcher at INSERM from 2016 to 2023 and held postdoctoral positions at ETH Zurich and the "Enrico Fermi" research center. Barducci earned a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2007 and was an SNSF-Ambizione Fellow at EPFL from 2012 to 2015.
