Anna Salvetti is currently the Editor in Chief of the magazine "médecine/sciences" at INSERM, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Anna worked as DR2 INSERM at the Centre de Recherche en Cancerologie de Lyon-CRCL from January 2016 to December 2020 and as a Research Scientist CR1 INSERM at the INSERM U649 Gene Therapy Lab from 1996 to 2006. Other notable roles include team leader DR2 INSERM at INSERM U758 Human Virology Unit and at the International Center for Infectiology research-CIRI INSERM U1111 from 2006 to 2015 and January 2021 to present, respectively. Earlier in Anna's career, research scientist experience was gained at Somatix Therapy Corporation and in a post-doctoral position at the Pasteur Institute. Anna holds a PhD in Virology, Microbiology, General from Université Paris Diderot, completed in 1992.
