Benjamin Delprat is a Research Director and co-founder of Sitera Pharmaceuticals, where they are currently focused on advancing scientific understanding of neurodegenerative diseases. Previously, Benjamin held various research positions at INSERM between 2006 and 2017, where they investigated cochlear hair cell homeostasis, ER-mitochondria communication, and the implications of these processes in deafness and neurodegeneration. Benjamin earned a Doctorate in Neuroscience from the Université de Montpellier in 2002 and completed postdoctoral research in pharmacology and at the Institut Pasteur, concentrating on gene transfer in the inner ear and potassium regulation in cochlear function.
