Cecilia Samieri is the Director of Research at INSERM, specializing in the epidemiology of brain aging and the exposome's role in age-related brain diseases like Alzheimer’s. Their research at the Bordeaux Population Health research center focuses on the influence of various environmental factors on dementia risk. Cecilia earned a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of Bordeaux in 2009 and completed a Fulbright postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Since joining INSERM in 2015 and being promoted to Research Director in 2021, they have launched the B cube study to investigate early-stage brain aging and dementia. Additionally, Cecilia has served as the immediate past academic co-chair for a PIA on nutrition, metabolism, and dementia with the Alzheimer's Association.
