Cyril Lafon is currently the Research Director at INSERM and the Director of LabTAU, where they have been active since 2011 and 2016, respectively. They served on the Scientific Council of INSERM from 2017 to 2021 and have held a similar position at LabTAU. Additionally, Cyril has been involved with the Fédération Française de Rugby as an official since 1995, transitioning to a video referee in 2019. They earned a Doctorate in Biological and Medical Engineering from Université Claude Bernard (Lyon I) between 1996 and 1999.
