Didier Samuel

Didier Samuel is the Président Directeur Général de l'Inserm. They have been a Professor of Medicine since 1997 and were appointed PDG of Inserm in 2023, continuing in that role. They previously served as the Dean of the Faculté de Médecine Paris-Saclay (2017–2023) and led the Liver Unit and Liver ICU at Paul Brouse Hospital (2000–2023). They also chaired the CNCR (2020–2023) and the Conférence Nationale des Doyens de Médecine (2022–2023), and were Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Hepatology (2010–2014).
