Emmanuel Brun

Emmanuel Brun is a Research Director at INSERM, specializing in X-ray Phase Contrast and Dark Field imaging since 2023. They previously held the position of Charge de Recherche at Inserm from 2015 to 2023 and co-founded MoreHisto, serving as a Scientific Advisor from 2021 to 2024. Emmanuel began their research career as a Junior Scientist at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility from 2010 to 2014, focusing on Phase Contrast Imaging for biomedical applications. They have also worked as a research scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where their interests included high-resolution multiscale computational algorithms. Emmanuel holds an HDR in Imaging from Université Grenoble Alpes and a PhD in Image Processing from Université de Provence.
