Frederic Michon

Frederic Michon is the Research Director at INSERM, leading a team focused on the developmental and pathological processes of ophthalmological diseases. They previously served as a Principal Investigator at INSERM and worked as a Research-Clinic Interface Specialist at CHU de Montpellier since 2024. Frederic also held roles as a PhD student at Université Joseph Fourier and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Helsinki, while managing a team at the Institute for Neurosciences in Montpellier. They earned multiple degrees, including a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology and an H.D.R. in Developmental Biology and Embryology.
