Gerard Mazón

Director of Research

Gerard Mazón is a principal investigator at Gustave Roussy, leading a research group within the UMR9019 CNRS unit focused on the molecular mechanisms of DNA double-strand break repair and genome integrity. They have previously served as a research scientist at INSERM and gained postdoctoral experience at Columbia University Medical Center and CNRS, where they explored the mutagenic potential of DNA adducts. Gerard obtained a PhD in Microbiology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
