Jean Rosenbaum is a retired research director who spent a significant portion of their career at INSERM, where they led the Bordeaux Research in Translational Oncology unit from 1995 to 2016. They also served as the director of the Department of Life and Health Sciences at Université de Bordeaux in 2015-2016 and held various roles in clinical and academic settings, including a post-doctorate position at the Clinical Research Centre. Currently, Jean is the president of the Scientific Council for the South-West at Ligue contre le cancer and serves as a scientific manager for the ANR in the fields of "BCDE" and "Physiopathology." They have advanced their education with an Habilitation to direct research and a doctorate in medicine from Université Paris-Est Créteil.
