Julie Helft is a Group Leader at both INSERM and Institut Cochin, positions held since 2017 and 2021, respectively. They previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Cancer Research UK from 2012 to 2016 and at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2007 to 2012. Helft was also a Chargée de Recherche at Institut Curie - Research Centre between 2016 and 2022. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from Université René Descartes (Paris V) in 2006.
