Leslie Caron, PhD, is a stem cell biologist specializing in disease modeling and regenerative medicine. Currently serving as a Tenured Associate Professor at INSERM, Leslie focuses on unlocking muscular dystrophies using patients' induced pluripotent stem cells. Leslie holds a PhD in Life Sciences from Université Côte d'Azur and has previously held research positions at institutions such as the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and the University of Sydney, where notable contributions included developing a stem cell therapy for neuropathic pain and modeling muscular dystrophies. Additionally, Leslie has received a fellowship from FSHD Global Research Foundation and an Habilitation to Direct Research from Aix-Marseille University.
