Matthieu Rolland

Senior Research Biostatistician/data Scientist at INSERM

Matthieu Rolland is a seasoned biostatistician and data scientist currently serving as a Senior Research Biostatistician/Data Scientist at Inserm and as an R instructor at Applied Epi. Previously, Matthieu was a Consultant-Research Data Scientist for the World Health Organization, where contributions included statistical analysis for global clinical platforms related to COVID-19 and other health conditions. With extensive experience at Inserm, Matthieu led various statistical analyses and contributed to research programs involving prenatal exposure to endocrine disruptors and preterm birth. Other roles included Project Manager for R Epidemics Con and Senior Biostatistician positions at CNRS and ISPED, focusing on complex data analysis and methodological advisory. Educationally, Matthieu holds a degree in Mathematical Modeling and Biostatistics from INSA Toulouse and further studies in statistical modeling from UC San Diego and Universiti Malaya.
