Maxim Cazorla is an accomplished neuroscientist with a broad range of experience in both academic and industry settings. Cazorla served as a Research Scientist at INSERM from October 2014 to June 2020, following roles as a Research Scientist at the Institut de Neurosciences de la Timone and a PhD student. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at Columbia University Medical Center and an Associate Scientist role at Institut Curie from October 2012 to September 2014. Currently, Cazorla is a Co-Team Leader at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique since January 2021, a Scientific Coordinator at Aix-Marseille University since January 2022, and recently became a Co-Founder and Chief Discovery Officer at Ateka Therapeutics in October 2023. Cazorla earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Neuroscience from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI) between 2003 and 2008.
