Sam Bayat is a Professor of Physiology and serves as the Director of the STROBE Inserm UA07 Laboratory. They are also the Chair elect of the European Respiratory Society Assembly 1. Sam has been a Physician in Charge at the Lung Function Laboratory at CHU Grenoble Alpes since 2016 and has held a position as a Directeur d'Unité at Inserm since 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy and a medical degree in Respiratory Physiology at Université Grenoble Alpes. Sam is committed to advancing knowledge in their field and is fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
