Serge Kauffmann has extensive experience in research and administration within prominent French institutions. At Inserm, Serge Kauffmann served as a member of the CPAR and CAR from May 2022 to December 2021. Prior to this, Serge Kauffmann was affiliated with CNRS, where a research career spanned from 1989 to 2010, culminating in the role of Directeur de recherche. Additional experience includes serving as a Chargé de mission and DAF at IGBMC in 2019, and as a Délégué régional à la recherche et à la technologie at the Ministère de l'Education Nationale from July 2010 to January 2019.
