Solal Bloch

Chargé de Recherche (PI)

Solal Bloch is a Chargé de Recherche at INSERM, with a research focus on the evolution of brain anatomy linked to behaviors and neurophysiological correlates. They completed a PhD at CNRS, where they studied the neuroanatomy of adult zebrafish to investigate cognitive evolution in vertebrates. Solal has also held postdoctoral positions at Medical University of South Carolina, exploring the effects of alcohol on neuronal activity and negative affect. Their academic journey includes degrees from Paris-Sud University and an exchange program at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a Master's degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences.
