Stephane Belin

Stephane Belin is a researcher and team leader at the Grenoble Institute of Neuroscience, where they have been leading a team since 2018 focusing on mechanisms of regeneration and neuroprotection. With a robust background in molecular biology and neurobiology, Stephane's recent research investigates the role of specialized ribosomes in translation regulation, contributing to the understanding of axon regeneration and circuit formation in adults. They earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and are currently pursuing further qualifications in neurobiology at Université Grenoble Alpes. Prior to their current role, Stephane held positions at institutions such as Boston Children's Hospital and INSERM, where they contributed significantly to the field of neuronal growth and repair.
