Vincent Calvez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in virology and medicine. Since October 2010, Vincent Calvez has served as the Director of the national clinical virology network at Inserm ANRS MIE, while simultaneously holding the position of Professor of Medicine and head of the virology department at Pitié-Salpêtrière and Saint-Antoine Hospitals under Sorbonne Université since September 1999. In addition to these roles, Vincent Calvez is a scientific advisory board member at ASTREMIHA since June 2024 and has been the Chief Medical Officer, founder, and board member of SkinDermic since October 2017, a clinical stage biopharma company focused on developing treatments for HHV8 virus-related neoplasia and inflammatory cutaneous diseases, having successfully completed two proof-of-concept trials in humans. Education was obtained from Université Pierre et Marie Curie.
