Scott Watson

Scott Watson is the current Advisor at Insgroup. Prior to their current position, they served as the Vice President at Marsh from November 2015 to January 2018. Before that, they were the Sales Executive at USI Insurance Services from September 2014 to November 2015. Their previous position was Director at Crystal & Company from May 2012 to September 2014.

Scott has significant experience in insurance brokerage, leveraging their expertise in insurance advisory, claims management, risk control engineering and administrative functions to the financial benefit of clients. Scott is a highly consultative individual with a commitment to pursuing value-added insurance solutions and results.

Scott has developed considerable insurance expertise in industries such as financial services, education, emerging technologies, energy, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, not-for-profit, retail, social services, software and internet services, and transportation. Scott also has significant experience working with private equity, venture capital and hedge funds, providing Risk Management, Insurance Brokerage and M&A due diligence insurance services.

Scott Watson has a BBA in finance from the University of Houston and a certification from CLCS. Scott also has a certification from FINRA in Series 7 & 63 and a certification from TREC.

Scott Watson reports to Ryan Shinkle, Managing Director, Business Strategy. Scott Watson works with Jed Schmidt - Advisor, Cody Hunter - Managing Advisor, and Woody Woodard - Advisor.
