Jalen Brown

Jalen Brown is an accomplished journalist with a focus on labor, employment, and health care policy. Starting a career with Affinity Magazine, Jalen covered various topics before holding significant roles at Howard University's CASCADE and The Hilltop, where campus events were reported. Experience at The Maroon Tiger included serving as Managing Editor, overseeing campus-related news and opinion pieces. Jalen continued to refine reporting skills at CNN as a Digital Writer and at Bloomberg Industry Group as a Labor & Employment Reporter, later transitioning to Bloomberg Government for in-depth coverage of health care policy. Currently, Jalen is a Federal Health Care Policy Reporter at Inside Washington Publishers, covering major national health policy issues. Jalen holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Morehouse College, completed in 2023.
