Patrick George is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in the automotive and defense sectors. Currently serving as Editor in Chief at InsideEVs and a contributing writer for The Atlantic and Heatmap News, Patrick has also contributed to The Verge and The Autopian, where Patrick developed news and audience strategies. Previously, as Editorial Director at Recurrent Ventures, Patrick managed multiple automotive and defense publications, significantly increasing audience engagement and overseeing a large editorial team. At Gizmodo Media Group, as Editor in Chief of Jalopnik, Patrick tripled the site's audience and directed various multimedia projects. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
