Sara Weissman

Sara Weissman is a reporter at Inside Higher Ed. Sara was previously a staff writer at Diverse: Issues In Higher Education, where they reported on racial and socioeconomic inequities in higher education, with a focus on higher education policy and faculty diversity. Sara has also written for The Tempest, Religion News Service, and j. the Jewish news weekly of Northern California.

Sara Weissman attended the National High School Institute's Journalism Division at Northwestern University. Sara then went on to study history and religious studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Finally, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
