Matthew Baines

Matthew Baines is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the infrastructure and water management sectors. Currently serving as Area Manager Infrastructure and Associate Director at Inside Infrastructure, a Ricardo company, since March 2011, Matthew has held multiple significant roles, including Principal Advisor and Engineering Manager. Prior to this, Matthew Baines contributed to SA Water from July 2001 to March 2011, where responsibilities included Project Manager for the Adelaide Desalination Project and Specialist Engineer in Strategic Projects. Earlier, Matthew worked as a Design Engineer at Wimmera-Mallee Water from January 2000 to July 2001. Matthew Baines holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Certificate in Water Resources Management from the University of South Australia.
