Inside Out is a not-for-profit registered charity that exists to challenge attitudes and change lives through the promotion, production and exhibition of film made by and about 2SLGBTQ+ people of all ages, races and abilities.

For nearly three decades, Inside Out has brought Toronto's 2SLGBTQ+ community together in celebration of the best queer film from Canada and around the world. Through our annual Festivals in Toronto and Ottawa, our filmmaker initiatives, our youth engagement and our year-round events and screenings, Inside Out is engaged every day in challenging attitudes and changing lives.

The Communications and Relations team at Inside Out plays a crucial role in furthering the organization's mission by fostering strong partnerships, managing marketing and communication strategies, cultivating member and donor relationships, and securing grants. The team works collaboratively to enhance Inside Out's visibility, support community engagement, and ensure the sustainable growth of initiatives that challenge attitudes and change lives through the promotion of 2SLGBTQ+ films.

Communications and Relations

The Programming Team at Inside Out is responsible for curating and organizing the selection of films showcased at the organization's annual Festivals in Toronto and Ottawa. This includes identifying and securing high-quality films that reflect the diverse experiences of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, as well as coordinating year-round events and screenings. They ensure the festival lineup is inclusive, engaging, and aligns with Inside Out's mission to challenge attitudes and change lives through film.
