Andy Russell has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Andy founded and built Trigger Media Group, a prominent digital media and SAAS holding company. Andy also founded InsideHook, a globally recognized digital media company. Andy is the Founder and Chairman of Empact Collaboration Platform, a white-labeled SaaS social-media-for-social good platform recognized by the United Nations. Andy is a partner at Pilot Group, a middle-market Private Equity and Venture Capital Firm, and at East River Ventures, where they ran the digital technology group. Andy also founded Moomba Restaurant & Bar and worked at JP Morgan Chase in the Acquisition Finance and Structured Finance groups. Andy has served in various roles for other companies, including TreatHouse and American Media.

Andy Russell completed their high school education at Riverdale in 1989, with a focus on general studies. Andy later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Psychology from Cornell University, attending from 1989 to 1993. In 1999, they enrolled at Columbia Business School, where they completed a program in Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship, receiving a degree in the same year.
